Gernot Ernst - Anesthesiologist (72%) at Kongsberg Hospital and Associate Professor (40%) at UiO (University of Oslo). He works daily with the patient group and possesses profound pharmacological knowledge. He will be involved in patient recruitment and responsible for data collection, data analysis, and interpretation.
Siri Leknes - Professor at the University of Oslo's Department of Psychology and Senior Researcher at Oslo University Hospital, Department of Diagnostic Physics. Her background is in research on pain, reward, and opioid psychopharmacology. She contributes expertise in pain, the opioid system, and the measurement of subjective effects, in addition to data analysis and interpretation.
Marie Eikemo - Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Psychology with a background in affective neuroscience and psychopharmacology. She contributes expertise in psychological mechanisms related to the opioid system and the measurement of subjective effects, as well as data analysis and interpretation.

Kaja Buen - Research Nurse. Works daily with the patient group at Kongsberg Hospital. She will be involved in data collection and data quality assurance.
Martin Trøstheim - Ph.D. candidate at UiO. Will contribute to data management, analysis, and interpretation.
Isabell Meier - Postdoctoral researcher at Oslo University Hospital with a background in affective neuroscience and psychopharmacology. She contributes knowledge of biopsychological mechanisms related to pain, stress, and reward processing, especially in connection with the opioid system. She will provide guidance in data collection and be involved in analysis and interpretation.
Guro Løseth - Clinical psychologist and Ph.D. candidate at the University of Oslo. Will provide advice on clinical questions and offer support for any incidental findings that may require a clinical psychologist.
Marlin Comelon - Anesthesiologist at Oslo University Hospital. Will contribute to data collection and interpretation.
Silje Reme - Professor of Health Psychology at UiO (University of Oslo). Will provide advice and assistance in conducting clinical studies in Norwegian contexts, with a particular focus on pain and disability.
Claudia Denke - Clinical psychologist at Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany. Will be involved in data analysis and interpretation.
Chantal Berna - Professor at Lausanne University Hospital. Director of the Center for Integrative and Complementary Medicine, with a research and clinical role at the Pain Center. Her research is focused on cognitive and affective modulation of pain and non-pharmacological pain treatment, and she is a long-term collaborator in the LAB lab. She has extensive experience in treating chronic pain patients with and without opioid misuse and will serve as an advisor for the study.
Eric Garland - Professor at the University of Utah College of Social Work, Director of the Center for Mindfulness and Integrative Health Intervention Development, and Assistant Director for Integrative Medicine in Supportive Oncology at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Dr. Garland has published extensively on patients with opioid misuse and conducts several RCT studies that combine medical and psychological treatment for these patient populations. He will serve as an advisor for the study.
